The further redevelopment of Liverpool City Region’s Birkenhead has passed a crucial new milestone following the approval by Wirral councillors.

Plans for the £1bn regeneration of Birkenhead town centre have taken another step forward.

Wirral Growth Company, a joint venture between the council and Muse Developments, has been given the go-ahead for a £1bn project to regenerate Liverpool City Region’s Birkenhead town centre.
