L’Oréal Beauty Tech For Good Challenge
L’Oréal UK and Ireland and Liverpool City Region’s ‘The Good Business Festival’ have re-launched the L’Oréal Beauty Tech For Good Challenge to find and support the region’s most exciting good business start-ups.
Due to the postponement of the competition last year as The Good Business Festival was cancelled due to Covid, the competition has now been rescheduled to take place in March 2022. As such, the competition will be re-opening to new entrants (alongside the candidates that were shortlisted last year) who are invited to submit an application between 23 February and 9 March 2022 (please see updated terms and conditions in the link below).
The competition is open to start-ups offering responsible, sustainable and inclusive beauty tech, and the first-place winner will receive a 4-month acceleration programme from L’Oréal. The runner-up will receive an invitation to a networking dinner with senior L’Oréal management, along with four hour long mentoring sessions. As the UK and Ireland’s biggest beauty player, with over 30 leading brands including Lancôme, YSL Beauty and Maybelline, L’Oréal is also a leader in beauty tech and has invested in and mentored over 50 start-ups in this space.
This project is part of L’Oréal For the Future – L’Oréal Group’s sustainability commitments for 2030.
The competition is open to any start-ups offering responsible, sustainable and inclusive beauty tech – whether you already have a product in the market or just a brilliant idea.
