Meliá Hotels International, Spain’s largest hotel group, is delighted to announce the upcoming opening of INNSiDE Liverpool on 16th August 2021.

Echo Place in Old Hall Street is a development by Reach and Dubai-based Select Group

Setting a new standard in the hospitality industry, the 207-room hotel will bring together a destination restaurant, panoramic sky bar, expansive conference & event space, state-of-the-art fitness gym, and upscale modern suites under one roof.

With a prime location on Old Hall Street in the heart of Liverpool’s commercial district, INNSiDE Liverpool is a stone’s throw from the bustling food quarter of Castle Street and is ideal for those looking to explore the city centre by foot. Excellent transport links make the hotel easily accessible by road, air and rail with Liverpool John Lennon Airport close by and Manchester International Airport an hour’s journey by rail, perfect for business travellers and urban visitors alike.

Repurposing the former Echo and Daily Post building, INNSiDE Liverpool will breathe new life into one of the city’s most iconic structures. Following over 3 years of extensive redevelopment, parts of the pre-existing site have been preserved reflecting Meliá’s commitment to sustainable practices, whilst smart touches ensure it will deliver an exceptional experience for its guests.

The open plan lobby encourages guests to meet, mingle and unwind before enjoying a meal in the 140-capacity destination restaurant and a 24-hour fitness gym, with state-of-the-art technology, ensures guests can work out around the clock. Situated on the 18th
floor, guests will discover the double heighted 360-degree Sky Bar, offering truly iconic and unrivalled views over Liverpool and the River Mersey, which will come alive with music from resident DJs.

True to INNSiDE by Meliá’s philosophy ‘Stay Curious’, the hotel promises to accommodate each guest’s every need and desire, providing them with a home away from home, offering the ideal work life balance.

For business travellers, the hotel will offer seven adaptable meeting rooms including the Big Idea Space alongside other rooms such as The News Room, The Printing Press and The Post Room; a nod to the building’s history. A dedicated events floor with capacity for over 340 people and separate catering breakout is ideal for businesses looking to host large scale gatherings. Floor to ceiling windows, natural air flow and integrated audio-visual equipment in all spaces ensures that business meetings are never compromised.

INNSiDE Liverpool will attract both short and long stay bookings, with each of the rooms designed to adapt to the dynamic lifestyles of its guests; featuring high-speed Wi-Fi, Chromecasts, and in-room mini fridges in each of its suites. The 207 rooms will vary featuring a large number of upgraded rooms for special occasions included 25 upgraded Studio Rooms, 26 Townhouse Suites and 1 Condo Suite featuring separate bedroom, living space and dining area.

“The past 12 months has been exceptionally tough for so many, not least those in the hospitality industry, but we are thrilled to be launching our third UK INNSiDE by Meliá property in the heart of Liverpool this summer.

“As a group, INNSiDE by Melia has gone from strength to strength following the launch of our Manchester site in 2015 and the brand new INNSiDE Newcastle set to open this spring. With a further two sites in the pipeline, it has been gratifying to see the brand so well received as we strengthen our roots in prime locations in the North’s most diverse cultural hubs.” comments Garry Fortune, Cluster General Manager, UK North at INNSiDE by Meliá.

INNSiDE Liverpool will be offering 30% off best available rates for a limited time only as part of the launch phase with rooms available from £59 per night.

As part of Meliá Hotels International, INNSiDE Liverpool will operate the global ‘Stay Safe With Meliá’ programme across the hotel, including measures to prioritise guest and staff safety during Covid-19.
