Law firm Bexley Beaumont set to open new office in Liverpool
Law firm Bexley Beaumont is to open a new office, in Liverpool, following a period of sustained growth.
The new office, in Oriel Chambers on Water Street, is the third opened by the boutique firm in two years since it launched in Manchester.
It follows a series of major steps forward by Bexley Beaumont in recent months, including the news that it is on course to double turnover during the current financial year.
Only weeks ago, the firm announced that it had become the youngest legal practice – and the only one outside London – to join the ranks of approved Parliamentary agents.
Finance litigation partner and head of the Liverpool office, Phil Sheard, said Bexley Beaumont’s team in the city had experienced “resounding success” during its first year of operations.
“There has not only been growth in the number of clients but an increase in the size of the team, too.
“We are something of a hybrid firm, balancing the quality expected of the very best traditional law firms with the kind of flexibility which allows us to support clients how and when they need it across a range of specialisms.”
He added: “The new Liverpool office provides us with a further opportunity to solidify our reputation across the North West region.”
Mr Sheard joined the firm after 16 years with two other North West law firms, Brabners and Hill Dickinson.
Bexley Beaumont, which was named Start-Up of The Year at TheBusinessDesk.com’s Business Masters Awards last year, now boasts 33 lawyers, with offices also at Centurion House, Deansgate, in the heart of Manchester’s business district, and in the City of London.
It has built up an impressive roster of clients in retail, leisure and hospitality, pharmaceuticals, logistics, real estate and the public sector.
