Brock Carmichael outline MIPIM plans
Liverpool-headquartered, international award winning architectural firm Brock Carmichael is attending Europe’s largest property and investment event MIPIM in force again this year. As a key part of the Liverpool City Region delegation again, Brock Carmichael will be represented by all equity partners Chris Bolland, John Cassell and Michael Cosser in Cannes, March 11th to 14th.
The event, which attracts around 24,000 senior property professionals and investors from over 100 countries, is a big part of the architectural calendar and, according to Brock Carmichael managing partner Chris Bolland, offers great opportunities for business.
“We are really excited to be back at MIPIM for 2019 as we celebrate 45 years in business. The event provides an effective way of meeting people face to face and encouraging investment back to the UK and North West,” he explains. “The year long efforts of the Invest Liverpool team are focused on converting real business out of attending MIPIM into growth for the Liverpool City Region. Fundamentally though, we are collaborators, and as well as new business, MIPIM provides an unrivalled opportunity to not only share Brock Carmichael’s stories, but crucially learn from the experience of others. Our own series of exclusive fringe events is aimed at just this.”
Chris Bolland will be speaking on the Liverpool City Region stand on Wednesday 13th March at 2.45pm together with John Foster, Preconstruction Director at Wates Construction on ‘Liverpool’s new Cruise Liner Terminal Hotel’.
These comments are echoed by Sean Beech, Chair of the Liverpool at MIPIM steering group, who said: “The Liverpool MIPIM delegation is the largest yet and we are building an extremely busy week of events, meetings and networking opportunities for all.”
Michael Cosser, partner at Brock Carmichael added; “Very often the role we have at Brock Carmichael is as a catalyst to turn the vision for a site, community or building into reality. That involves bringing teams together of developers, real estate specialists, contractors and clients. At MIPIM we can fast track this and make things happen. We look forward to attending in this, our 45th year of business.“
Michael Cosser will be on the panel at an event ‘Invest West: Regeneration in Historic Maritime Communities’ which includes Richard Mawdsley, Development Director at Peel and Lisa Harris, Director of Place Strategies with Cheshire West and Chester. This is an invitation only breakfast event organised by the Cheshire and Warrington delegation on Thursday 14th March.
