Having acquired a site in the Pumpfields area of the city and started work on phase one earlier this year, the developer is planning to begin construction of the 69-apartment second phase next month.

Now, Integritas Property Group is to start constructing the seven-storey Central Point, the second of four blocks at its £41.5m Bastion Point development on Naylor Street.

The developer bought the site from Limekiln in January and started work on the first block, comprising 67 one- and two-bedroom flats, shortly afterwards.

Designed by Snow Architects, Bastion Point is located in an area of the city that has seen several ambitious proposals come forward over the years. These include Freemasons Row and Via Verde, which together would provide 2,000 homes.

While those schemes have not yet materialised, Integritas managing director Mitchell Walsh – who also heads up a property services company called Elavace – is hoping to deliver schemes that benefit everyone involved.

“As an ethical property developer, IPG’s focus is not only on creating beautiful spaces that benefit both the investor and the renter, but also on building communities and injecting profit into the areas surrounding our project sites.”

Work on Central Point will be looking to complete in the third quarter of 2024, approximately one year after the first phase.

Details on the remaining two phases of the 240-home residential scheme will be released in due course, according to Integritas.
