Held on 25 – 28 September 2018 in Hamburg, we are attending to promote the city region as an international investment location for wind energy.

Liverpool City Region has huge potential for investors. The city region is a UK government designated Centre for Offshore Renewable Engineering, home to the first commercial deployment of the world’s largest wind turbines and, with further offshore wind development planned for the Irish Sea zone, is set to boost offshore wind supply-chain opportunities for years to come.

Businesses locating in the city region can benefit from a large, mature offshore wind cluster with internationally significant expertise and capacity. With great schools, colleges and universities, Liverpool City Region has a rich seam of future engineering talent that will join an existing workforce too.

Our aim is to support and accelerate business growth and investment to build a sustainable economy and they will be looking to meet companies throughout the exhibition who are interested in investing in this lucrative city region.
