Now Healthcare Group are creating 30 jobs with the opening of a £1.5m ‘Tele Pharmacy’.

The group’s ‘Now Pharmacy’ branch helps people living with chronic care conditions manage their medicinal needs through the AI mobile app ‘Now Patient’.

The app was created to enable up to 15 million people living with long-term health conditions such as cancer, diabetes and lung disease to get free delivery of their repeat NHS prescriptions.

Now Pharmacy will be able to dispense around 500,000 prescriptions per month and will be utilising the latest robotic technology to help the distribution process.

“Our Tele-Pharmacy has been kitted out with the optimum robotic technology to streamline processes and service and fulfil medicines for thousands of NHS patients.”
