Content agreement

This is an agreement between you and Liverpool City Region Growth Platform which explains how you can use the photos, video clips and stories that you download from the toolkit on the Invest Liverpool website.

How to use the content?

You may use the content in any way that is not restricted (see restricted use below). Subject to those restrictions and the rest of the terms of this agreement, the rights granted by Growth Platform are:

There is no expiration or end date on your rights to use the content.

You do not have exclusive rights to use the content. Other users can also download and use the same content.

You can use the content in an unlimited number of projects and in any media.

You must use the images, video, and stories to help promote Liverpool City Region in a positive way and not in a way that can harm the image or brand of the Liverpool City Region.

You must acknowledge the source of images and video of the 3^rd parties who supplied the images to Growth Platform. You will find these details upon download. For example, if the filename includes “@Copyright” please credit the appropriate source when you reuse the image or video.

Examples of how you can use licensed content include: websites; blog posts; social media; advertisements; marketing campaigns; corporate presentations; newspapers; magazines; books; film and television productions; web and mobile applications; product packaging.

Intellectual property rights:

Who owns the content?
All of the licensed content is owned by either Growth Platform or the third party who supplied the content. All rights not expressly granted in this agreement are reserved by Growth Platform and the content suppliers.

Content Withdrawal
Growth Platform may discontinue any item of content at any time in its sole discretion. Upon notice from Growth Platform, or upon your knowledge, that any content may be subject to a claim of infringement of a third party’s right for which Growth Platform may be liable, Growth Platform may require you to immediately, and at your own expense: cease using the content, delete or destroy any copies; and ensure that your clients, distributors and/or employer do likewise.

Audit
Upon reasonable notice, Growth Platform may, at its discretion, either through its own employees or through a third party, audit your use of Growth Platform content directly related to this agreement and your use of content in order to verify compliance with the terms of this agreement. If any audit reveals use that does not comply with this agreement, we shall request that you cease use immediately and at your own expense: cease using the content, delete or destroy any copies; and ensure that your clients, distributors and/or employer do likewise, unless you change the use of the content in line with this agreement. We reserve the right to take legal action if the user does not comply with the terms and conditions.

Electronic storage
You agree to retain the copyright symbol and the source name and any other information that may be embedded in the electronic file containing the original content.
